Hi guys my new tank as above will be filtered by a 6x2x30"wide sump and i was planning on having 2 weirs, one at each end and two returns in the centre at the back of the tank.
I will be running two Oase eco 8500lph to drain from each side of the sump, the pumps will be in the centre of the sump drawing from each side and should pump about 5000 to 6000 lph at the head

The drains will be 2" and so will the returns, so will this dia pipe be able to flow this much?

Bttt.

Sump sounds fine to me.

My 11,000 gal swimming pool only has 2" piping running 1.25 horse power pumps so yeah yours will be fine.

Just get some good media in the sump and you should be fine.

Hope this helps

Cant wait to see some pics.

What will the stand be made of to hold that monster?

Cheers toby for the reply and info, thats good to know.
Il try and get some pics of the plans asap but the stand will probably made by myself out of box section steel or as im a fabricator by trade or brick base but were still deciding on how to do the tank and stand so we will see after we see the architecht this week .
