So I took the day off work to prep the edges for bonding. Could only find 2 flute router bits. Tried it on the edge of the lid cut outs...the shop cut edges are smoother. I'm half tempted to just bond the shop edges (cnc cuts). I tried to use the back of a hack saw blade...not working. I can feel the grooves with my finger nail on the shop cut edges. Not smooth as glass. Any ideas???

Super thin skim cuts with the router. I was taking too much material off. A straight edge clamped to the acrylic and calipers to keep all cuts equal. I used a hand held router which took many hours...a table router is the way to go.
