6x4 stand

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Still in the planning stages...it would be a 6x4 acrylic. Also, to make it easier to move, what do you think about making 2 seperate stand pieces 3x4, sliding them together (both level of course) with a faux piece of trim where they join. Then screwing down (so it could be disassembled) 3/4 plywood sheet to the top.

Ideas anyone??

I've got a 4x3 next to a 6x3. All unfinished 2x4s. Hope to skin them someday but until filtration's up to par they'll stay user friendly unskinned. The 6x3 is one piece. 3' tall. Has to be taken apart to move out of the room it's in due to height. The 4x3 is actually 2 old stands, a 55 (1x4) and a 120 (2X4) sitting together.

Seemed easier to just double up 2x4s rather then using 4x4s. I chose screws that I didn't think would chew up the wood, as I knew dimensions meant disassembly to move.

Hope that helps a bit. Few pics to give an idea....
