7-8" Vieja Argentea : gender?

Lives with a group of similar sized IT Datnoids. Gets these vertical bars when fighting with them. At 7", is it a female if there isn't a pronounced nuchal hump?

I'd say that's a male. Unlike Flowerhorns and stuff, that's already quite a well pronounced hump.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say female due to the larger, more spaced out spotting on the sides of the fish and round body profile.

Here are two males. Left one is dominant, right one is submissive.
