Hello, I have a mini-monster tank, and I am looking for a pike cichlid that will get around 8", is active and colorful. Is there anything that can fit the bill?

If you lived closer I know of two of them right now for really cheap. Svenis are great males will get around 10'' and females around 7''-8''
You could keep pikes with dats but a rainbow wolf fish most likely will be a problem with both fish

I know the wolf fish will be fine with practically anything I put in there that cant fit in its mouth. Its actually a erythrinus sp. peru. It has been in a community for probably 6 months now with now bad behavior besides quarreling with the dats if they go in his territory under the java fern. Here is a vid of the tank, its a 55g:

I've always wanted a crenicichla, I'm unsure what to keep it with though.
If it were alright for it to be in a 36''x12'' it would most likely go in with a FM and convict.

go to pets playhouse dude here in cedar rapids iowa on johnson ave they got a giant sveni never seen any so thick its huge!! it looks like it could eat a baseball. its huge girth wise its a beast
