A young pair (2) of Blue Diamond Discus Male 4" Female 3.5"

nice price for all of those! is it hard to keep them? and is that sand that i see in the tank? wow... some discus keepers would keep them away from gravel or sand.

Thanks I think so, especially since there is a chance for TWO breeding pairs in there!

They love the sand? Why wouldnt people use sand or gravel? I've keep discus now for 2-3 years.

Its not hard at all to keep these I have had them (the largest) for about 2 years now, they
do well in soft low ph water, but I have them in Socals hard, high ph water and they are laying eggs left and right and eating like pigs!

i really like the way you set up the tank. and with so. cal. water... wow! what type of sand is that? where did you buy it? i can't have them yet. but if my tank was cycled maybe i would reconsider to have them. hopefully it is still up for grabs until i fully cycle my water.

Its just silica sand blasting sand from home depot! comes in a 50lb brown bag for $4. I have it in all my tanks and the fish love it!, just make sure to rinse it really well b4 putting it in the tank.

They have aclimated well to socals water.
