FS - 7" Florida Gar - State College, PA - Ship or pick-up

We bought a florida gar several months ago and unfortunately we think we bit off a little more than we could chew with this fish. We tried to house him with a few different large fish (6"+), but he has bitten and maimed several of them. The gar is in great health....the only thing in the tank that can say that at the moment. LOL We are asking $30 for this fish. At the moment he is in a 30 gallon tank and he seems to have plenty of room at the moment, but we'd like him to go to a 50+ gallon aquarium to ensure plenty of open space. Small feeder fish, which is the only thing he will eat right now, but we have been in the process of trying to move him over to tilapia fillets. Sorry the pictures are kind of bad...the little guy is so active that I couldn't get a good picture cause he wouldn't stop moving! LOL
 
Its a 4 hour drive from NYC to Port Matilda, PA where I live, but I will be heading 2 hours east to the Poconos next weekend if you would like to meet up since that is pretty much the 1/2 way mark. Actually...I think I have to go a little more than 1/2 way. =) We are going to Tannersville, PA (exit 299 on Interstate 80). Let me know what you think.
