7" jack dempsey going in w 18" cichla?

I'm adopting a 7" jack dempsey from someone and wonder would my peacock bass eat it?
i have a 240g tank with 2 peacock bass 18''+, 14" tiger oscar, 12" pike, and a 12"trimac.

i would say there is better than even money chance the Peacocks will eat it.

A 7" JD is a formidable fish...to another JD. If money were on it, I wouldn't bet the odds.

I just adopt the Dempsey, it's close to 8"... Once I put it in the tank it got punk by all my fish, and the male peacock bass try to eat him already, but didnt. after 2 hour everything seems ok. Hopefully the Dempsey can tough it out.
