7 midas fries in 75 gallon tank

Depends on size. I've seen them pair up naturally at maybe 4-6". But they generally fight and change females until they've raised a successful batch. BTW good luck. I've had no success breeding larger cichlids as they end up fighting, and I don't like ripped or cut off fins. So i end up keeping them solo.

Cichlids seem to breed at a very young age. They might breed around 4"+ give or take. Just keep an eye on them because it only takes one @$$hat to destroy the entire tank. Most keepers keep Midas solo because they bully or kill their tankmates and their partners so often. The bigger the tank the better. I think it would be awesome if you could get a compatable pair. Right now, they still chasing each other. Some fry also flair up. I am afraid they experiencing constant stress. Is this normal? The tank have lots of hiding spot but despite of that they still chasing each other.What's up
