I got 7 of these guys about 2 months ago with plans to put them in a feature 240g tank.

Plans change, though, and during our move they've been sequestered down in the far back bedroom and I never see them, and honestly don't really miss them. Until we get this place furnished and set up right I think I'm going to downsize to just my one SA tank.

They're awesome fish, in great shape, and I'm told they'll breed if given the right tank. They're certainly old enough.

I'll get some pics at next feeding. They're not as colorful right now as before because the substrate and rocks are far too light in the temp. tank. All are in good shape though and eating like pigs.

$220 for the group, same as I paid. Located 2 blocks south of Wrigley field.

They're getting more acclimated and social. Here are some pics I just took. They're a bit washed out due to the substrate, as I mentioned, as well as the fact that the dark background got wet when I overfilled the tank so I had to yank it. It appears to be a 2/5 M/F mix. One male is showing good color and the other one is blurring a bit, as you can see in one or two pics. Not sure why, maybe the other big one has been bullying him or something.

The fish ended up looking a tad distorted from the angle, but I did that to avoid flash glare and because this is the closest representation I've ever gotten of the actual color in a crappy PnS photo. It's a little bit bright but not too much.

Spot is NOT for sale. Ever.

Two well-educated Frontosa keepers have informed me that these are Burundi, not Mpimbwe. Which makes sense given the color. Mpimbwe are supposed to be way darker in the light spots. Not sure why these were sold to me as Mpimbwe...

That ought to make it a lot easier to find more to add if you want, though.

Burundi Bump.

$25 each - original price is too high for Burundi. Guess I got ripped off. :(

ok now im confused, your original price was 220 for the group of 7 so when you found out that they're the common burundi you now charge 25 apiece which actually comes up to 250 for the group of 7 burundi???
