Just wanted to share my 7 year old anubias plant, it could even be 8 or 9 years old...I cannot remember.

it started off as a small plant on a piece of driftwood where there was more wood than plant now there’s more plant than wood haha it’s actually grown past the piece of wood.

this plant has been in every tank I’ve owed starting off in a cold water koi and goldfish tank into the current tropical vieja synspilum tank

red outlines the piece of wood

feel free to post your old plants!!!

I had a 2 year old Anubias nana that was the size of that one that I sadly lost along with 90% of my plants because I forgot to put them back in the water for a few hours after pulling them all out to re scape.

Awe that’s too bad...though a few hours doesn’t sound like it would kill the plant...unless you are somewhere really hot

A few hours was 7 hours with my dehumidifier running full blast.

With every failure I make I learn a lesson so it's not that sad. Next planted tank I'll keep an Anubias nana alive for a decade ;)
