I have a 70 gallon tank and I want to put the most badass looking shark/animal in there I can. What kinds do you suggest? :headbang2

bigger tank

Your tank isn't the most friendly with "sharks" We can suggest vicious fish, however most people start with these, and tire of them because they become solo specimens or atleast very few tank mates. Make sure this is the path you want to go down. From working at a mom and pop LFS, this by far the most common problem. Unless you have multiple tanks the dropout rate of single specimen fish is pretty high within the first year.

Due to the fact that you've observed most behaivoral patterns by then. You can only watch them destroy another fish or tear apart your awesomely setup tank so many times. There are very few people who do buy a solo specimen as their first and keep it full duration.

:welcome: to MFK!

Could you please elaborate what you mean by "shark"? Are you looking for FW or SW? If SW, then none of the fish will ever work in a 70g. You will need to research them further as they require specialized care. As for FW, which ones do you want? You have an option for red-tailed black sharks, black sharks, rainbow sharks, apollo sharks, bala sharks and many other fish that resemble the sharks. None however are true sharks. Please get a list of fish you want and we will narrow it down for you. Your original question is very vague.

Do you realize the requirements of these fish, PennReels?

Red tail black sharks

agree with Aquia, the OP could get a nicely sized school of exodons, and that would be the closest thing to what he probably wants for this tank

Yeah exo ADW =D

Or possibly goodeids and limia (livebearers that are more agressive than Piranha =P)
