Hello I came here because I have no idea what to do with a 700 gallon fish tank. I want to do a ca, sa cichlid tank. I was wondering what species and combos would work. Some species that I was thinking of where Uaru's, Severums, Salvinis, GT, firemouth, geophagus, or rainbow. I don't know what combinations to do, and if I do a GT what fish could go with it because of its aggressiveness. I have kept lots of SA cichlids but my largest tank was only a 180g and I don't know combos for a 700g :P.

Yea if you have really territorial fish just set up little natural dividers like rocks, pots ect. So everyone can have a home.

It kills me to use a tank this big on this when you could have a HUGE FAT MBU!

(sorry, yes, it' a derail sorta, but you can keep those cichlids in something smaller! If you're gonna go big, go big with your stock! I'm venting cause I'm jealous!)

With that big tank, If it was mine I would stock it with large and aggressive cichlids like Dovii, Jaguar, Nandopsis etc and set it up as biotope. Good luck!
