should be picking up a 72gal bowfront from a member this weekend wondering what you would stock it with. can be anything fresh but i generally lean towards cichlids or oddballs. will be an upgrade for my clown loaches but they could also go in the 180. shoot me some ideas

2inches at the moment and there will be a bichir about 3 inches in there

Keep the clowns in the 72 for now. Your fish in 180 will consume them very easily.

none of them are big enough and they dont even mess with the tetra in there everyone in the 180 is small too

I would look into knife fish. I'll be setting up a 75g oddball tank soon and I'll probably have Bichirs, african knife fish, African Butterfly fish (maybe), and Leopard bushfish. I'm going with an african theme.

How small are your fish?

the biggest is the eel around 8 or 9 inches smallest the red tiger mota 2inches or head and taillight tetra maybe and 1-1.5 inch, also have cories small and no one bothers them. everything except the eel and lima shovelnose is under 4 inches

Go for an African theme with some Congo Tetras, a couple of Senegals, an African Brown Knife, and a Butterfly fish
