hey guys im new here. :naughty:

and i need help stocking my new 72 gallon bow front.


i was thinking......

2-Flowergorns
2-Blood parrots
1-jelly bean parrot-(Undyed)
2-Firemouths
1-JD
1-GT
1-Busht nose pleco
6-giant danios

i know thats way too manny fish for the tank and thats what i want, but i know i can't have some.

which ones should i keep??

imo the parrots and firemouths would probably get along , or the parrots and either a JD or GT. or like TheFishGuy said, everything but the flowerhorns and parrots.

one thing for sure, definitely leave out the flowerhorns if you want other fish to live. once a flowerhorn gets to 8-10" (if not sooner) it will probably want the whole tank to itself. :grinyes:

you still have the flower horns? that wont work, i agree with everyone else that you are setting yourself up for disaster, just drop the FHs they are gonna kill everything anyway.
 
i already have the FH, in a 55 that i want to upgrade he is only 2.5'' now.

ill take out 1 FH but i have to keep 1.

1-FH
2-Blood parrots
1-jelly bean parrot
1-Pleco
6-giant danios
1-Convict.


will that work?

It'll work for about 4-6 months..... I don't like Parrots in the least (too each their own)
You'll also need a lot of filtration.....

I would have gone with
2-Firemouths
1-JD
1-GT
1-Busht nose pleco
3-giant danios

Leave the flowerhorn in the 55 put the other fish in the 72. the FH will be ok in the 55 by itself. alll of those other fish will be wwaaaayyyy to small to even have a fighting chance if it goes beserk. put the dempsey with those on the list. parrots are hybrids like FH but don't anywhere near as big. at most the other fish, with the exception of pleco species, will
only get 6 inches FH get at least 12inches get the picture? please listen & keep it solo or it will end being solo after having you waste your money. Why did you try to force everyone to agree with you?
