Hey Everybody,
Here is a vid of my current grow out tank for the 300 in april.
In the tank is:
6x Silver Dollars (1-2 inches)
5x Clown Loaches(1-2 inches)
Soon will be adding:
6x Orange Head Geos (1-2 inches)
3X Albino Bushy Nose Plecos (1-2 inches)
The geos and plecos are coming from peathenster great guy. Helped me out thru the coarse of a few months on my decision on getting geos from...and of coarse the plecos did look cool so had to pick them up as well!
Also something for everybody else to consider...is add a bowl in the tank. I have a fear of food wasting away on the substrate or getting caught behind the plants and decor...so I added an exo terra bowl where I place the nls pellets as well blood worms in. The fish are slowly adjusting to this idea of being fed... also if you take upon this idea make sure ou turn off wave makers before adding food.
And of coarse if thier are food leftover grab a giant turkey baster (like the one i use to put the food i the dish) and use it to remove the pellets. Enjoy the tank vid let me know how you like it! Also any tips are appreciated! They eventually start eating from the bowl
