I have a tank that has a built-in TidePool 2 sump with a Mag 9 sub pump running right now. Eventually this tank will be an african mbuna setup with lots of fish.
I want to add some more mechanical.. I have an FX5 used that will need hosing and Foam blocks, but I do have 5/8" Eheim intake/spray from a Fluval 403 that is not worth buying spare parts for. I do hear that Mag 350's will fit or maybe just wait to find a HOT 250...
What should work here? I am scratching my head as the FX5 is just huge and might be too big for my undercarriage, and takes 1" hosing. But the 350's are hard to find cheap and I need around $150 for my FX5...
