"high quality" adult FH are expensive, but you can go to local chain stores, like Petsmart, and buy a juvie for about $24

i know they like smaller tanks would it be ok to put a juvi in a 75 alone????
What makes you think they would like a smaller tank?

A juvie will be fine in a 75 all by itself, it would probably prefer it, since it'll probably try to kill anything it can physically handle. Just set up some structures(caves, rocks, plastic plants, etc) for it to feel secure behind

FH are very susceptible to hex, so as soon as you get one start it off on NLS Hex Shield (as per instruction). As it grows and become comfortable it'll start attacking you during water changes and maintenances :)
