Hello, i currently have a 75 Gal that had a 15" Gar that i gave to a shop that could accomidate him better as he grows.
I now have an empty 75 Gal tank with live plants, driftwood, dark substrate, and dim lighting. And has extra filtration like everyone reccomends for piranha. It held a shoal of red bellies in the past.

I also have two 2" Black Rhoms in another tank that i purchased together out of the same tank and have been living together for a couple of months.
I will be moving the two of them into the 75 Gallon after i add some more plants and hiding places.

My question is, is it possible that the two Rhoms would be ok together for a while? how long?
i am aware that a 75 can not house 2 rhoms for life.

And also is there any possible tankmates that would be ok while the rhoms are at this small size?
Beside the usual Pleco.

go back to red bellies, serras are boring lol :P

your gonna have a problem, because the rhoms are going to kill each other eventually. i'm gonna shoot you a pm also :)
( i can't send you a pm until you make 5 posts)

it is difficult for me to get piranhas were i live ( im from MA).
I was able to get the red bellies at a shop in RI were I buy most of my equipment and thats were I got the Rhoms.
That wa the last of the piranhas for now I made sure i got them as soon as I saw them :)

I woul love to get a different type of schooling piranha like caribes?or piraya?
i belive those are the ones that shoal... but have no way of getting them

Get Geryi, they are in the Serra family, looks like Rhom and can shoal :)

where in Ma are you? i'm an ex-m******* myself.... either way i'd come up with a new plan for those fish if i were you. And to awnser your other question about what to keep with them. your pretty much screwed there too lol. anything you try to keep with them will get eaten eventually. even your pleco will be food sooner or later.
