Third rock from the sun
Ok so you might have seen my thread about putting a green sunfish with my flowerhorn... and I'm starting to think that that was just a really dumb idea

I've wanted to do natives for a long time now and my current stock is starting to bore me so I want to know what a good stock would be for my 75 that revolved around a green sunfish as kind of a centerpiece. is there any sort of native catfish that could go in there?

and I came across this fish while surfing the internet, can anybody give some info about it?

The mottled Sculpin is a fair sized bottom dweller that ambushes prey by hiding. Green Sunfish do fairly well with Stonecats and Bullheads.

idk about pleco. my pleco killed my green sunfish by sucking on him.

no kidding? ive heard about this happening with oscars and I've even kept larger cichlids with plecs and never experienced this, maybe I'll just have to wait and see...

now im thinking of having a black bullhead instead of the yellow because of the blacks being smaller... any truth to that?

they are really about the same. blacks may get a bit bigger. snail bullheads are the smallest i know of.
