Hey guys currently I have a 75 gal tank with a few natives and have a few plants in it, and the slim is sticking to the side of the tank, wondering if I should just go over that with a scrub brush / sponge or what anyone recommends

Use sponge first, if it doesnt work, use the scrub brush. You can also buy aquarium glass cleaners at pet stores for super cheap.

okay i take it the glass cleaner wont have chemicals that hurt the fish... obviously?

No, its basicly just a scrub brush on a stick.

I have heard that acrylic tanks tend to get kind of foggy or murky, but I've never seen them turn yellow.

more so a yellowish lake kinda water could of been from the plants... any chemicals you would recommend also putting in the tank besides stuff to rid of cholirine? also... its the water thats yellow not the glass.. any thing to protect aginst murky / foggy / discolored wateR?

Do you have driftwood in the tank? If so, that is probably the cause of the yellow, it is leaching tannins. It will eventually clear itself up, but could take a while.
