What are you into? There are zillions of options so we need to know what sort of fish you like :)

This. What you like is most important. We can suggest all the fish in the world bit if you don't like them then why bother? Don't keep fish just because other people like them I guess is what I'm trying to say.

...And roughly where do you live? There may be some restrictions on what you can keep depending.. :)

I live in NJ. I’m into cichlids and ancient fish. Like bichir maybe some south/American cichlid but most of them get pretty big. Or some oddball fish

Is the water in your area coming out of the tap hard or soft. You could do Bichir I suggest the smaller lower jaw specie such as Senegal Bichir and a mild aggressive medium size Cichlid . A group of Firemouth would work..

Firemouth are Central American I suggested them because both Firemouth and Bichir prefer hard water.
