Great Opportunity for someone! i will take the hit on this one.

I've recently got into Flowerhorns and as you know, they don't do well w/ black background tanks. So i'm looking for a blue back tank.

What i have for trade:
I have a CLEAN 75G (48x18x20) seaclear II system by SeaClear w/ black back, built in wet dry filtration filled w/ bioballs. also comes w/ prefilter and rio pump. this tank is still in very beautiful condition, a definate display tank quality.

here's a link so you can see how much this thing costs brand new:

What i want: standard 75G (48x18x20) acrylic aquarium with BLUE BACK in good to new condition.

**trade tank for tank only, no stands**

Bump for you. Do you mean you need a 75 gal like this?:D Azin has a 120 48x24x24 blue back for sale right now.

You do not need to change background, you just need to change your substrate. Put small gravel on the bottom and add some landscape for your fish to shift around. By shifting around objects, your fish is making his territory and feels at home. When he feels comfortable, he will show his potential. If you like, you can use fake tall plants to cover some of the black background.
If you just have an open tank like pictured, its so open that he does not have anything to claim his. Sure, its easy for tank maintence, but too plain.

Save your money and enjoy the hobby.

i don't like "coloring up" the tank decor to compensate for the black background, it looks really cheezy to me.

You should've bought JL's blue tank back then and problem would've been solved.:D Goodluck hunting for a blue tank. They're kind of hard to come by since the majority of MFK like black.
