75 gallon filtration for heavy stocked

In your opinion, is this enough filtration for a 75g tank? 1 rena xp3 and 2 emperor 400s

If it were to be heavy stocked, is that still enough or is another canister needed?

You are fine..
I have a xp3 and a penguin 350 on my 75 and my water stays crisp. Even after feeding, the water clears up fast. I guess you could always go with a fx5 but with your current stock you definitely dont need it.

Okay, good to hear. I think that is over a 10 turnover rate. Will an aro and tea cup create more waste than a tank full of 10+ fish, like africans or less/same?

Thats really going to depend on what size the fish will be and how much you feed them.

This being a grow out tank you filtration will be fine for now. Just stay on top of the water changes and check you parameters regularly.

I haven't checked the parameters in probably 2 years, just never lose a fish. Always just keep up on maintenance and never bother checking but sounds good. Thank you all.
