I have a standard 75 gallon glass tank from petsmart. This tank is about 4 yrs old, .5" glass with black plastic trim around the top and bottom. My problem is that all for corners of the bottom plastic trim are cracked. I kno it holds water but im still a little nervous. i've seen people remove the trim on these 75s to make thier tanks rimless... Any one have input on this?

you could always replace the trim by ordering a new one, or just make it a sump for your future 200 gallon tank you dont know you need yet
