I moved my central american cichlids to my empty 125 gallon tank and it leaves me with an open 75 gallon. The only fish in the 75 gallon are 10 red/blue columbian tetra (3 inches) and they will stay in the tank. I will list my tap water here.
pH 7.6
KH 3
GH 3

I'm open to hear out options on what to place in the tank.

4 2-3 inch green terrors as grow out (will be placed in bigger tank in few months.

1 red shoulder severum with 2 blue acara

Or any suggestions that you guys may have.

I’ve kept a severum in a 75 before so I can give an opinion on it. I believe that a 75 is too small for a severum and they’d do better in a 6’ tank than a 4’ 75. Their decent size deserves more space in my humble opinion.

I would do some Brochis corys, I had those, and they were quite fun. Sadly, I had to get rid of them, but they were still a great rare fish. For cichlids, you could do some Convicts. Some EBAs (beautiful stunner of a fish and fun to watch), discus (if you are up for the challenge and willing to crank your temp up to a constant 84-86 degrees), or 1 Hujeta Gar (might be pushing it with the last option but you only have tetras right now).

Also, if you like catfish, a few Striped Raphaels are great. While yes, they tend to hide, they are always a treat when they come out or try to hide in plain sight (like mine *sigh* they aren't the smartest catfish in the sea😅). They don't bother other fish and keep to themselves. I've kept them with all sorts of fish, including all of the ones I've listed above. Great cool catfish.

I hope this helps!

You could do 20 exodon tetras if you wanted something a bit aggressive -

Otherwise, a huge flock of cory cats would look pretty cool, too!

Or you could do a mixed tank with some apisto agazizzii’s -

75s have lots of options
I have red blue columbian tetra in there now. Not really into corys.

I've thought about a striped or spotted. Armor with fins! Lol

I have Honduran red points in another 75 gallon, so convicts are out.

Yeah, it sounds like you are well-stocked on Convicts Lol. You could also do an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey if you want something a bit more aggressive. A Striped Raph with an EBJD and those tetras would be a great setup. Also, you could do a small school of a smaller breed of Geophagus if you're into that.

Here is a link to a thread very similar to yours with the same tank size and stuff for some more options: https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/...ican-cichlid-tank-stocking-help.698476/page-2
