Planning to get a 75 gal glass tank/stand. I have a 2 story house with a 6 ft crawl space. Generally is a 75 gallon safe on the main floor? The only place I want it has engineering joists that will run parralle with the tank.

Can you put the tank against a load bearing or exterior wall? If you can, I believe it should be fine (disclaimer: I am not a structural engineer). I've got my 75g + 30g sump against an exterior wall on the ground floor (above a basement), pretty sure it's parallel with the joists. Living room hasn't collapsed yet.

Should be fine. I would put it on a load bearing wall if possible, but even if you don't 75g usually won't fall through the floor as long as your house is reasonably sound.

Mine is parallel to the floor joists and has been for two years. No issues here.

Just be sure to really look over the floor from underneath to be sure all the joists are in good shape.

It's a brand new house. I have no choice but running parallel. Another concern is my refrigerator will be 5 linear ft away.
