I got a 5 lb co2 cylinder? (not positive on the size) and regulator that I have no use for and would let go for cheap :naughty:

75 gallon. Which has always been one of my favorite sizes.

Thanks for the offer but I'd like to stay away from co2 unless its 100% necessary

No I won't.
I've had this fish for over two years and he's grown maybe an 1.5" (I see you're from Holland...sorry I don't know what the coversion is).
For almost all that time he has been on a very well varied diet (I'm lucky because he eats whatever I put in there with him). Water changes were done twice weekly and water perimeters are tested, logged and filed. I only say that because I'm nuts about his care.
He's 7" right now. In two to three years if I'm lucky he'll be 9". In my time in this hobby I've only seen a very small handful of keepers that have grown rhoms past 10" having bought them at small sizes. That being said, I have no idea how long it will take the fish to reach 11" or if he ever will for that matter. Will he get a bigger tank? No. A standard 75 is just fine for a fish that size.
Now if he reaches 13", and believe me I hope I'm still around for that, I'll be at my fish store with my checkbook ready for a new tank at the very least twice this big.

I can't help you with the camera. My wife does all that stuff. I just take pics and keep the few that turn out. what you see here is only a small, small fraction of the pics I took the other night. good luck.
