I'm planning on doing a 75 gallon salt setup. I've had fresh water for a number of years.

I want live sand and rock, with Marine hermit crabs, and starfish.

I'm staying away from corals, I'm not even close to ready for those guys yet!!

BUT!!

the main purpose for this tank is because my fiance and I want puffers.
I want the dog faced puffer, and he wants either one of them, or something that will get along well with one. If not, would 2 small puffers be able to live comfortably in this?

We have a canister filter for our tank, and it needs a new seal on the lid, but once that's taken care of, it'll be good as new.

What other fish and critters would be able to live in this tank?

1 more question. The 30 cube saltwater tank at my sister's work has bristleworms, and these little yellow things that look like scuds. They put out traps for the bristleworms (less than in inch in length) and they seem to figure their way back out. How can she get rid of these?

Thanks!!

NVM, I'm doing a cichlid tank instead

I hope you know, I can't resist those faces!! :D

Ok, Ok, they've done talked me into it. I want a dog-faced puffer, and I know they'll need 100 MIN, and I'm planning on BUILDING a 150 g.

Could I put a momic saddle puffer in with my dog-faced? Or would I need a puffer of similar size? I like the BIG fish, and he likes the littler ones.

In this tank, I'm also planning on having some live rock, with some hermit crabs, and starfish, with some snails kicking around (I know, fish food)

What are some smaller fish I can use to fill the empty spaces with my puffers?

That saddle mimic isn't even a puffer!! (just got to the desc)

At any rate, same question, just insert a real puffer in that category!! lol
