I need ideas on what to add and opinions on the way things look so far.

I'd go for some off colors. If you can grow peruensis those get to be a really nice purple. Good contrast to the green plants and red driftwood.

Either that or if you could find a nice white calcite rock that's be pretty slick to the center left peaking out from behind the driftwood.

It looks really dark. How much light do you have?

a 96w power compact and a 110w T5

I like the idea of adding more purples and reds

some red lily would look nice in the forefront. also, some cabomba species are red or orange which would look cool. also, i think some big amazon swords along the back would give it more depth

Woah thats a dark tank! I say you get some nice lillies or a grassy foreground to add some depth and color to the tank.

The front i would add a few Crypt Beckettii , Pygmy Chain Sword and some Anubia Nana .

A Nymphaea zenkeri say on the mid' left side would look nice and then with maybe a Nuphar Japonicum on the other side ,

then plant the back full of Giant Vallis Torta and Green Myriophyllum .

Thanks for the advice guys!

Yeah, Im broke so I havent had the funds to get more plants yet. lol what a depressing update!
