Crappy picture, but it works. I am planning on some big swords in the back corners and maybe a few in the back middle. Some anubias on the driftwood with the java fern. Maybe some java moss somewhere. I am looking for something that will make a carpet in the front of the tank. Sugguestions are welcomed. Will have co2 on it with 2-4 65 watt 6700k compacts.

All the plants you have, and plan to have are mid-low light. If you want a carpet, I'd say the 4 65w pcs would be best. There are lots of plants that you could use. Do you want something that carpets, and is grassy, vine like, extremely low?

ET is a good carpeting plant, and I have mine growing in about 2.5w/g.

Here's my 75G. I'm currently out of CO2, and only running 130W lighting, and the ET is growing in great.

Yes, i do use ferts from Greg Watsons.

As for time, it took a couple months to fill in. My lighting was higher then, but it's spread in places where I didn't think it would survive, like under the driftwood. And now with lower lighting, it's still doing very well. Should be getting my CO2 refilled Monday. Then back to high light.

both tanks very nice. by the way born 2 luv fish that is a great start i can really see the fill in plant making that tank look great. great choice of wood and the positioning is mag.

Is the cluster on the left suppose to be Pride Rock or something?

I know java fern is a low light plant, so I hope it can survive under high lighting conditions! The problem I am having now is that my driftwood on the right has this white fuzzy hairlike crap all over it, and I just put it in the tank a week ago... Any thoughts on what it is and how to get rid of it?

The wood is just a bacterial bloom. Just take it out and boil it, or soak it in water that is fresh off the stove from boiling.

The Java fern does OK under mid-high light, but not well under high light.
