75 gallon south american community tank

I am looking to turn my 75 gallon into a peaceful south american community tank.
Currently in the tank are:
1 x gold severum 6-7" ( keeping )
1 x green severum 5-6" ( keeping )
1 x electric blue acara 2-3" ( keeping )
1 x Gold spot pleco

I am looking to add an elliot once it grows big enough and also maybe a couple of angel fish.

Do you think this stock list could work out long term?

Also for the last few years I have exclusively kept large american cichlids which destroyed my tank on a daily basis which prevented me from having any live plants what so ever. With the fish I have listed do you think I would be able to successfully introduce some hardy plants such as anubias?

I have already got the ellioti growing out. Do you think if I were to add it would I be overdoing it?

I'm a fan of anacharis with my big cichlids and even my vegetarian fish don't seem to like to munch on it too much. I always found my anubias was eaten promptly by my vegetarian fishes.

I have some herbivores/omnivores that dont touch the annubias nanna and java fern. Tie them to dw using thread

I have plants in with my 2 severum (mostly Anubias) and they do get nibbled on. There are other fish in the tank but I blame the sevs.

As for the original stocking ideas does anyone think it could work or am I just overstocking and asking for trouble? I have never had a peaceful community tank like this before. I also think that the green severum is a female and the gold is a male which could potentially cause some problems so will most likely remove the green severum so this would most likely be my final stock list.

1 Neon blue acara
1 eliioti
1 gold spot pleco
2 angelfish or a group of schooling fish ideas?

If it were me i would go with the sev and pleco...maybe the acara and leave out pleco.
