So while I was cleaning out my garage when I happen to come upon an empty 75 gallon tank, hood with lights, and a eheim canister filter! It's amazing what you find in a packrat's garage!:nilly: Now I want to set this up as a cichlid community/breeding tank. I'm thinking about adding some easy to breed cichlid, let them breed and leave the fry be, a survival game. So my questoin is, what's a good looking cichlid, relativly easy to breed, and isn't overly aggressive? I'm thinking about convicts but I hear they can be very aggressive when breeding. How many can fit in a 75 gallon?

rainbow cichlids (herotilapia multispinosa) stay small, about 4", and are community-friendly cichlids . . . like the Firemouth, they are CA cichlids . . .

blue torpedo sharks

i would do either firemouths or one of the convict's cousin species like sajica, nanoluteus or HRP. :)

My vote is for rainbows. but firemouths or sajicas would be nice as well. The reason I like rainbows so much is they live in crowded areas with lots of other rainbows and they make a great community all by themselves
