I wanted to know if you guys think my 75 gallon tank is overstocked as I am unsure. The fish live great together breed a lot and there really is not much aggression. I have a fluval 405 and 305 for filtration.

5 3-4" yellow labs
5 3/4" yellow labs
1 4" red zebra
3 1.5" red zebras
2 3-4" demasoni
10 1-1.25" demasoni
2 3" pearl mutts
1 5" female kenyi
1 4" blue johanni

I am planning on adding 5 more pearl mutts once they grow to an inch. I will also probably remove some demasoni as I have too many juvie males. The tank has lots of hiding spots. The fish don't appear stressed every now and then the dominant demasoni male will chase or lip lock the johanni and the Kenyi may chase any of the fish depends how she is feeling. When she wants to mate she will chase the males around it a funny role reversal.

Sounds like the numbers keep the aggression down pretty well. I could use a few more in my tank for that reason. I think dont its over stocked as long as you keep up on the water changes its all good. pics?

Here is a poor pic that I took with my cell phone. I found a demasoni fry in the tank last night and scooped it out and threw it into my fry tank. My main demasoni pair were breeding again last night. I have about 26 in a fry tank and 12 in my main tank. I typically give them away to friends or sell them on craigslist .

I think it works because 15-20 of my stock are fry/juries. Having the smaller fish in the tank gives it a great look as the smaller fish school and go in and out small crevices.

I am short one of the labs as he/she appears to have been lunch for one of the larger cichlids last night. I have 9 more in my fry tank, but it takes a month to get them to that size.

Maybe one of the Juries incarcerated the missing lab?
LOL, jk - nice tank, clean. Just change the water alot and I wouldn't add more.
