Yesterday i had some fun redoing my tank.

I had just white sand in there but i added some black beauty black sand and some brown pebbles to make it look more natural.

The siphon vacuumed the tank but it was still stirred up a bit after mixing in the the pebbles and black beauty so i put some filter floss over the filter and the power head intakes.

I got some nice shots of the rope fish also!

How's it looking??

I love it!

Where do you get rock's like that from just some random river then boil them??? cause i need to put something in my tank so is that what you do??.

:ROFL:HAHA!! its Gary ..Team America "the signal" lmao

and, yes I have a wide creek that runs behind my house. I just go rock hunting, when i find some that i like i was them off then boil them.

They usually turn out nice but sometimes when you boil them they break.
So don't take a cold rock and throw it in boiling water, put It in the water and then turn on the heat.

Very pretty. I may do the same thing now based on how yours turned out. When you said you mixed black sand in, I was like "NO!!". But it looks great. Very subtle, and extremely natural looking. Good job :)

Thats beautiful but that heater is KILLING it....

Move it off to the side or get a black stealth instead...that's the only flaw I can see...
