Glass 75 gallon, with 1/2 acrylic dividers. Water flow is going to make a U through the 8 compartments.
Any ideas on a fry proof adjustable divider method.

How big will the fry be?

I still need to drill holes in the dividers for water flow. The first compartment is going to be a dedicated to a upflow algea scrubber, with a 1/2", water fall drop into the next tank. Then a bottom siphon tube. With a surface overflow as emergency back up.
I should post a graph paper drawing.

As long as the fry are tiny, why don't you either leave them in the net bags? After that, you can try cheesecloth, or even better, but expensive, you could use poret foam, or something like it.

I am going to feed the fry, with Daphne grown with the algea scrubber. So once they are big enouph, maybe 1 week. They will need full circulation of the scrubber effluent.

Why not use the same plastic mesh you use to build the scrubbers?

If it works, it will be self cleaning, very low maintenance. Never mind scraping a fine piece of 1/2" acrylic.
