75 gallon

i will be getting a used 75 gallon tank that was used for salt water. I would like to make this into a frest water tank. what will i need to clean or do with the tank with to make it safe.

To easy......use a 1000grit sand paper and water.

I wouldn't wetsand it.. You can try vinegar to remove the old salt residue, or just some good ol' elbow grease. If you can't get ALL of it off, don't worry it wont hurt.

Vinegar and water, but give it a good scraping with some fresh razor blades first.
