75 gallon

Okay I have my 75 gallon set up and cycling but I need to know something. Right now i have it so that it is parallel with the floor support boards. Should I move it so that its going across more boards or no?

Yeah, it is better if the tank is set-up perpendicular to the joists/floorboards.

You'll probably be fine if you dont cuz a 75 is not that heavy (like a 180etc) but i would just for peace of mind.

It's in my room and I don't know if there is another place that it would fit anywhere else.

it should be fine as long as you dont have a very old house over 150 gallons then start to worry,but if its bothering you just move it better now then later when you get fish

whats a very old house because my house is about 40 years old.

well thats not very old, does the floor move or creek when you walk on it,do you have a good reason to worry about the weight? it should be just fine,I have a 240 in an older house than yours, but I did suport the floor,cause I couldnt sleep at night lol
