75 gallona and 40 gallon stocking ideas?????

My other post have described how my tank broke and i lost some fish. Well i wont be able to set a tank up for about 2-3 weeks i think or i hope. I may fix or buy a new 75 gallon. what should i stock it with. I have 3 bichirs and a ropefish that survived and will go in the tank but what monster should i put with them?

My other idea was to buy 2 40 gallon breeders and start different tanks. what monsters could i keep in a 40 gallon tank?

For 75g get a bunch of Geos, a severum or two and some pictus catifish. for the 40g get some angelfish, tetras, cories and such. Man i wish i had a 75g.

i love the 75 i just found a 75 on craigslist with a stand and marineland canister filter for 175. the tank is 2 years old. I was just keeping my options over cuz i thought it would be cool to have 2 tanks wih lil monster in it but the 75 can hold some real monsters

Don't go with any fish that exceed 12" in the 75 and the 40 only about 5-6". Also, for the 75g, only get one really big fish. You can always stock it with mini monsters like african butter fly fish.

yea ive been trying to find them. I was thinking for the new 75 i would keep all 3 bichirs and the ropefish and then put my gold severum in there when he grows a lil more and then i would throw a jag in there cuz they can be mean but only if they dont grow with the other fish.

So heres where I'm at right now until i move out i can have a 75 gallon in the bedroom upstairs. He said i can have 1 40 gallon but i think i can talk him into 2 of them. Or he said i can do the 55 gallon i have stored away. Take into mind that i have 3 bichirs but i may get rid of 1 or 2 of them or i may trade the ropefish in. What cichlid besides my gold severum could i house in the 40's or 55. I was thinking about a jag or a green terror....
