I am planning on getting a 75 or 90 gallon to house my (currently tiny) "electric pink" jack dempsy, electric blue jack dempsy and adonis pleco. Would I be able to add anything else into either of those tank sizes with those 3 fish, or would the tank be fully stocked when they are full grown? I was thinking a school of 6 rainbowfish or something along those lines? I generally do daily water changes on my fish tanks, on a tank that size I would probably do a daily 5 gallon water change. Filtration would be a fluval 404 (have one in the basement) and an aquaclear 50 (also have on already). Not getting the tank for awhile yet but planning is half the fun :)

Your AC 50 wont fit over the rim on a 75 or 90 Even the 70 wont go all the way past the ridge that holds the top. I found this out the hard way and had to get a 110.

Thanks, guess I will just buy an aquaclear 110 then when I get the tank. I'm planning on using my student loan money to buy the tank with, and since I work at the LFS I get a discount, I may even be able to go with a 120 . . . although the tank has to go on a 2nd story floor so I am a little nervous about it going through the floor, is that really a concern, or no? I usually get around $1400 back for my student loans. My fish are all tiny at the moment, but will probably outgrow their current tanks before I can get the big tank. So I will probably put them in my empty 46 gallon until next semester (fall) when I can purchase the bigger tank. Which tank I get depends on mostly price, but also what my parents think the floor can support.

That is true. The aquaclear 70 won't fit on my 120. I had to squeeze that sucker in there and it still doesn't fit. I plan on getting a aquaclear 110 and a canister for my 120 soon.
