thanks. hopefully with the bigger tank (was in a 55) and frequent big water changes he'll grow even more, im hoping for 18".

hah yeah, he REALLY REALLY dwarfs that tank

awesome looking jag by the way

He looks kind of deformed...possibly from a small tank. That guy is def. a beast though.

how exactly does he look deformed?

kind of like a short body, has a really high arched back that i've never seen before:)
doesnt take away from him, he's a nice looking fish:thumbup:

Yea I dont think he looks deformed at all. I think you should get him his own 100 gal or 125. That would be a bad fish. He looks really thick. Beast of a fish.

im on the third floor and my dad isnt comfortable with anything bigger than a 75. i already have a 40 gallon, 55, and 2 10s in that room. if he went into the basement into a 120 (48x24x24) which i cant afford anyway, he would be neglected, out of sight out of mind. the pic doesnt show him in his full form, all fins out with a full belly and what not. when he does that he looks normal and fine. looking at the pic i see what you mean, but i guess that pic (angle w/ the glass, his fins mostly down, etc) distort him a little.
