just picked up a 75 gallon for 5 bucks,im thinking of stocking it with a jaguar cichlid.how long until i should upgrade to a bigger tank.the jaguar will be around 4 inches when i get it.

Why do you constantly buy tanks and then put fish in them that require much larger tanks? You have been asking these same questions for well over a year now. Just don't buy something you can't house properly.
Put your boa in it if he's still in the 55...
Female jag might be OK for life. Personally I'd put a trimac in there but I've had a hard-on for a trimac for awhile...
