Hi everyone, just started my 750 litre project and hope to finish it during my holidays. Tank dimensions are 180 cm X 70 cm X 60 cm. I plan to relocate my two silver arowanas and green asian once it finally setup and cycled.
I've recently received the tank from the builders, and also ordered the 3D background from Germany. I plan to use two Tetratec 1200s and a pressurized pond filter for filtration. I already use a wet-dry on my 55 gallon but the wife wants something quieter for the livingroom:)
I plan on using some driftwood, rocks and pool filter sand on the bottom.
I'm hoping to hide all my equipment behind the background to get that natural look.
The stand is made of an iron frame dressed in 2.5 cm thick MDF.
Enjoy the photos.

WOW that's sweet.....gonna be an Killer thank for sure...keep us updated please....

Well I've been working on the tank this weekend, and finally got it up and running. It was a beast to lift in between 4 people but we succeeded. Hope you enjoy the result. Still have to add another filter, make some lids so that the arowanas don't jump for it and let it cycle. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on a Motoro eventually to keep the aros company. Cheers

Very nice. I like the 3D backgrounds but I think they take up alot of room.

You can choose really. I bought this background because it was made of fiber-glass and very thin. Once placed in the tank it only takes up 10 cm maximum of the 70 cm width.

I'm planning on moving my 2 silver arowanas and my green asian (all around 30-35 cm), my Oscar and once they have grown out a bit my 2 bichirs and stingray.

Currently running 2 Tetratac 1200s but will add another filter sometime soon.
