750g acrylic tank - Germantown, MD - PU

Large acrylic tank for sale that holds approximately 750 gallons. Tank is 10' long and consists of twin 4'L x 4'H x 3'W tanks connected by large twin tubes (over 1' diameter each). Acrylic is very thick (over 1"). Tank and stand were originally from large pet store, but chain folded years ago. The original laminated store stand and canopy are included, as well as much of the plumbing and large fittings. I ran this tank with a Jaubert Plenum and will include the drilled PVC, egg-crate and screen for same if desired. This tank is very heavy empty and suggest using experienced movers with adequate muscle and truck. I used Craig Van Lines to deliver years ago. Please factor that in.

You will not be able to find a tank this big for less money. Fish grow VERY large in this tank., but I do not recommend nurse sharks as they will outgrow even this tank. Trust me.

Serious inquiries only. Asking $2,900 and you pick up and/or arrange with a freight company to move.

Nice! If only I had room...you're comment about nurse sharks reminded me of superpetz in VA.

i think there is a 300g up in gettysburg pa. which is just a short drive north of frederick areay
 
The 750g is sold (d.p. received and tank to be removed on 4/2).

I also have a 300g acrylic that I will be selling shortly. I'm setting up specimen tanks in my new house this weekend and will break it down and transport livestock next week. I will post new ad here and Craigslist when it's ready, but willing to entertain offers now to hold/avoid listing.

The tank is 96"L x 24"T x 36"W with single overflow box on right side with two pre-drilled holes at the bottom and one pre-drilled return hole on the left side. The back is blue and tank is in fairly good shape with some minor scratches that could be sanded out while empty.

The stand and canopy was custom built out of poplar (if I remember right) with three doors and is black.
