As requested, this is the 750g filtration thread.
Total system volume is 1000g with a 750g tank and a 250g ICB tote as the filter.

This picture gives an overview of the entire system.

Two 1.5" lines go into the ICB under a full siphon, the third carries a trickle, and the forth pipe is and emergency line (I really should have a pipe directing the 4th line straight into the sump). All the pipes enter the 55gal barrel with approx. 500 pot scrubbers for bio filtration. Mechanical is done through the 100 micron filter sock. Each full siphon carries about 1500gph (measured), total turnover is 3000gph.

Its hard to see but there is a 4inch pipe connecting the 55gal barrel to a smaller 20 gallon barrel where the water flows out the top and into the main sump. The only thing in the 20gal barrel are FX5 baskets with media. This ensures i have readily accessible seeded media at anytime in case of an issue.

Dual DCT-15000 pumps power the return.

TMC 110W UV on one of the returns.

Auto water changing system. I was having hole in the head issues because of my hard water so i set up a drip system. The 3 cartragase filter all incoming water. Then off the last carbon cartrage the flow splits with some going to the RO and some to the tank directly. This system is turned on and off via a electric solenoid valve on a timer set to 7.5 hrs a day which produces 120gal of usable water and 60 gal of waste. The water drains out of the sump through a overflow and into the sewer system.

The red coil in the sump heats the tank. A controller activates a solenoid and pump when the temp goes to low. The pump circulates water through the boilers hot water coil. When the temp is achieved the pump and valve close. This heating method is much cheaper than using large electric heaters. The biggest downside is if the controller fails on this will easily cook the tank.
