Here's a stand I built for a buddy of mine. It's 49"x19"x30" and can be used for 75g or 90g tanks with a 48"x18" footprint. Real easy stand to build. Only supplies you need are 2x4s and #8-#10 wood screws. I used 3.5" screws for this build, but 2.5"-3" screws will do the job just fine.

(sorry for quality. blackberry pics. no flash)

ha it prolly can hold about a ton or more. It's the same design I'm using for my 225g build minus a couple vertical supports and that's gonna be about 2,300lbs-2,400lbs.

Nice sturdy build! It will also support an elephant too. So, this stand is 100% reassurance.

The only thing I would add is a floor panel, a door, and some paint and BAM!, nice place to hide a sump or canisters! Thing looks tough! Thanks for posting:thumbup:

that was my idea exactly, but the friend I built this for decided to keep it open faced. It will be painted though. Overtime a floor panel will be added, but it's most likely just gonna be storage for his food and maintenance gear.

My 225g stand will be wrapped and have doors though. My fluidized bed filter will be stored there along with my food and maintenance gear as well.
