You are going to need to thin out to about 5 eartheaters at some point. With all of those fish they are not going to have move to even turn around. You do have a ton of filtration but you have enough fish to fill up a 300g tank.

Just curious, why so many cory's?

peathenster, i appriciate your concern, i dont intend to keep these fish in this tank longterm.

they are going to be split into 2x 75g they are all under 4" right now.

i have kept and bred many types of geos and fully understand their potention/ eventual size.

the pindare and tapjos are going into their own 75g when i find the tank im looking for.

which will be soon, as in the next 5 months at most.
the cories are gorgeous, and they are not big, all ~.75" right now.

they will likely be thinned once ratios can be established.
the tapajos right now are all under 2.5"tl.

so i have some time on my side.

i appriciate all the comments.

Brian - I replied in your other thread and asked about upgrades but didn't see your response, so I thought you were ignoring "negative" comments....hence the sarcasm. it was rude, and I do apologize.

You have a clean setup and obviously know Geos well (probably a lot better than many of us). It's just that the numbers of fish and species currently in the tank make it difficult to fully appreciate the beauty of the fish. I look forward to more updates in the future....perhaps a new tank with an even bigger footprint? :naughty:

mark thats a bet, lol

peatheenster, its all good, i actually am about to picku a 65g 48x18x18 tank either today or monday.

i was going to buy a 4x2x2 120g, but i still live at home and my parents said hells no,lol
so the 65g will have to do.
when i move out an 8ft 240g will be their permanent home.
i will be moving the trio of pindare and the 6 tapajos to the 65g once setup.

btw, i just finished watching my pindares finish breeding, one of my females is holding atleast 6 eggs, and shes barely 3"tl.

i know the chances of them making it are slim, but atleast their trying:)
once the tapajos pair off i will probably just keep the pair of tapajos and the trio of pindares.

btw, the taenoparious i thought were taenos ended up being something else, so i passed on them.
