75g and stand

Do you guys think $150 is a good deal on a black 75g long tank with matching black stand? Does it matter that it held a snake? I want to keep Discus in it.

make sure it is a tank designed for water and not reptiles.

around my area, the make aquariums with thinner glass not meant for water but for reptiles.

they look exactly the same other than the thin glass

if its local and you can look at it, measure the glass thickness, and look at the silicon and make sure its still good.

more than a 1/4 inch i think that is the minimum for 75 gallon. make sure that light didnt burn the center brace.

to be honest, to me that glass does look a little thin for a 75 gallon..

a 55 it would look fine, but a 75 usually has thicker glass due to the extra width..

maybe its just me..

imo it looks as thick as my 55 gallon glass, and this is a 75long, which if i member correctly isn't as high as a standard 55????? (not sure on that one) but even if it is around the same height as a 55, you should be fine.

The glass on my 75g is 1/2", I do beleive their are some built with 3/8" glass though
