After going through 3 tanks I finally have a 75 drilled tank. I plan to have it set up for a lake tanganyika.
12 cyprichromis
6 syno lucipinnis
3 caudopunk
2 calvus
2 ocellatus
2 bristlenose

It came with a 26x12x15 wet dry I was originally planning on running my eheim 2217 along side. Local guy has an fx5 for sale cheap would that be overkill for this tank.
If you think the 2217 would be efficient enough. I know you can't have too much filtration but if its not really worth the $125 I'll pass on it.

That's a lot of flow. Roughly 1200 which is freaking moving in a 75g

The flow would be better imo. Fx5 could be useful in the future though
