I have a 75g with a 9" male Jack Dempsey and 6 Silver Dollars. My current filter is a single Rena XP4, which does a good job by itself. However, I would like to add a second filter to give me more options (chemical) and flow to move the heavy JD waste off the sand bed.
Which filter would be a good second filter?
I have some AC70's but decided against them due to the space needed behind the tank/wall. I also found an Eheim 2232 at Petsmart for $50 but was not sure if it would do much even as a second filter.
Also what is the best placement for the spray bar on the XP4? I have it spraying towards the surface now.
